It works by uncoiling and leveling of flat steel coils, which are then fed into the rollers. These rollers bend the steel into tubular form with open seam along the length. For welding, high-frequency electric current is applied to the seam. The squeeze roll join the edges without any filler. After cooling, the tube is passed through sizing rolls for exact dimensional accuracy.
